WWF

My sister Jodi watches Caid every month when I go get my nails done. (And look how cute they are this month! Thanks Al!)
Up until now, Caid has been my sweet little angel (yeah right!), never causing any problems, but lately she is coming into her own. When I dropped her off, I warned Jodi to watch her because she may bite. Right when I walk in the door to pick her up, Brielle comes running up to me, holding a wet rag on her leg. "Caid bite me!" And no, not just once.

Brielle got even. We took them out to jump and Brielle kept pinning her down to get the "bug" off of Caid.

Project 52-19

My camera has this screen that you can pop out and flip around so you can take a picture of yourself. Caid loves to get her picture taken this way because she can see herself and pulls faces. What a funny little stink!

Summer Fun

Just a few pictures of what we've been up to the last few weeks. Apparently, nudity plays a large roll in our day to day activities?
Project 52-18--Should I cut Caid's bangs? I'm trying to avoid bangs, but when I pull her hair up, she pulls the ponytail out and looks like a rag doll.
At least I didn't put a leash on her too! (yet!)
Eating limes at Adam and Billie's wedding.
Caid and Savannah and some cute little cheeks!

Yuba

Cory and Heather invited the family to Yuba for the day. We got a few good hours in until the storm hit, the boat was beached, and we all piled in the cars to wait it out.
Dad's usual vacation picture. Never quite sure if he's awake or asleep but either way he's enjoying himself!Project 52-17--This is when the sand storm hit

Project 52-16 (and 100th Post!)

Dang, for the 100th post, you'd hope for something exciting, but nope! I sure do love this little girl! And as you can tell by her reaction to me kissing her, she sure loves me! Nothing like fighting to get away from a smooching mommy! Caid is getting more and more busy everyday (and if you know how busy she used to be, you know how scary this is!) I glance over from my desk the other day to her using a milk crate to get into all the paper work that she can't reach.
And once she knew she'd been caught!
She then discovered the extra clothes I had for her in the diaper bag. And wanted them ALL on!

4th of July!

Tons of pictures! And tons of posts in a row...but I am finally caught up. Thursday we started our celebrations with a neighborhood bbq and fireworks. Then all the guys came over for a Halo tournament until 2:30 am. Friday we headed up to my parents cabin after work. Izzy got into our bag and left us with 3 diapers still intact. It was close, but we made it!
Caid and Macy sitting by the fire
Caid giving Conley the eye so that he would share his smores. And it worked.
Katie and Jake were at the Rideout's cabin so they came over for hot dogs by the fire and then met us in Scofield for the BIG parade! Toni is getting so big!
The Search and Rescue truck, hey, they're practically family! We have them on speed dial by now...
Are we done yet!?
Saturday we came back for the annual Rideout bbq and swimming. This year they had rented a taco cart! Best idea ever! We could order tacos, quesadillas, burritos...and no clean up after!

Walk the Walk

I was the Camp Director for our ward this year and am so relieved that it is over! I loved the calling but trying to juggle work and planning camp has been a little overwhelming! The theme was "Walk the Walk" so each age group was a different shoe: Adidas (All Day I Dream About the Savior), Nike (Just Do It), Converse (Conversing with the Lord), and ballet flats, stilletos, which I can't remember the thought that went with those...
My hiking group for our 3 mile
Kathy Taylor was the only advisor from our ward that came up (the only one not pregnant or with a newborn at the time!) She got in trouble by the stake because they thought she was a young woman sneaking off during stake time. The stake presidents wife also asked me if I was one of the youth!
Me at the top (middle) of the rock wall they rented
Waterslide!
One of the many cute crafts we made
"Spa Day" Who doesn't love a little pampering in the mountains? We also made homemade chapstick.
Doing the 50th round of "Father Abraham." This song would go through my head all night long!
Human Foosball
We had DELICIOUS food! The stake made all the breakfasts and lunches. We did the dinners with our ward. The last night (bishopric night) we were planning on making chicken and potatoes but ended up having alot of our stuff donated so we had extra money so we surprised the girls with Olive Garden.
Dumping the water cooler on another leader
Doesn't our cabin look cozy!? There were 9 beds on this wall...and turn around and the exact same thing on the other wall. It was basically a shed with 18 shelves crammed in. But when the rainstorm came, we were grateful for it! There were a few spiders and you would think these girls had never seen one before. They were screaming and crying and scared they were on their face. Once one of the leaders got a tick, one of my girls had enough and had a panick attack so I had to take her home half way through the week. All in all, we had a great week!

Lagoon!

I haven't been to Lagoon for years! It was Alex's work party so me and Caid went with Kalee, and my niece and nephew, Macady and Cody.
Caidence getting all lotioned up!
The plan was to spend most of the day at Lagoon-A-Beach but it ended up raining and the water in the pools was FREEZING! Once Caid (literally) turned purple, we decided it was time to head to the roller coasters.
Yes, this is the Lady Bug Drop and Macady was scared out of her mind! And Aunt Kalee was very caring, as you can tell by the face. This was pretty much the only ride she went on, which meant I had a babysitter the rest of the time so I could go on all the rides!
