We have the most comfortable couch ever. But NEVER again will I buy microfiber. It's supposed to be so easy to clean, but we just barely had it professionally cleaned, and you can't even tell a few weeks later. But I find these tiny little greasy handprints absolutely adorable! I haven't wanted to wash them off yet. Today I went thru all of the girls clothes, putting away the ones that are too small and pulling out the next size up. A lot of the clothes that Caid was wearing when Jord was born are now almost Jord's size. It makes me so sad that my little 5 pound bundle from a year ago is now so grown up! It goes way to fast!

Gymnastics

I signed Caid up for gymnastics and soccer at the same time. Soccer started in the Spring, though, and gymnastics just started this Summer. Soccer was a bust. She didn't want to play. She didn't want to go. The days I could convince her to go watch, she would cry if I asked if she wanted to go in and play. So we figured she must be too young to start organized sports. I had already paid for gymnastics so I figured we'd give it a shot. She loves it! She waits in line for her turn. She listens. She tries all of the moves. And she's even masted the "TA-DA!" at the end. I guess the problem isn't organized sports, its TEAM sports.
Jordyn hates being little. She wants so badly to be able to be in there with the big kids. And anything her big sister is doing, she wants to be right there doing it with her.

Swimming

Caid is doing swimming lessons five days a week...and it's still not enough for her. She is in love! First thing in the morning her swim suit goes on and she makes sure her bag is packed with a towel and her "gobbles." I wish I got to watch her swim more, but Jord is sooo mad that she can't get in with the big kids during lessons. It's a daily tantrum at the pool because I won't let her get in. She is in heaven when we swim after lessons end. Each session is 2 weeks and we signed up for 4 sessions. 8 weeks of hanging out by the pool sounds like a pretty ideal Summer to me!!

After dinner the girls know the routine and know they get to play in the bath. Caid knows she has to wash the "zits" off. (I have no idea why she calls it zits, but she means chlorine. It's really sad when they start pronouncing things correctly and learning the real words. It's way too cute to correct them when they come up with their own meaning of things.) She also practices her bubbles and breathing that she learns at swimming. Then after the bath Caid always wants to sit on the couch with her towel and a blanket to dry off. Now Jordy is in the stage where she wants to do whatever her big sister does. Except walk.

3 Years Old

I already posted the ones of her showing off her modeling posing skills, but here are a few more of my favorites. She is one beautiful little girl!

First Annual Eldredge Dirty Dash

First off, running is not fun. I want to be a runner. I envy those that can/do run. But I am just not one of those people that enjoys running. HOWEVER, this was a great way to do my first 5K. We did the first of hopefully many family mud runs. We went up to Soldier Hollow in Midway and did the Dirty Dash. Our team name was "Got Runs?" (although me and Jodi thought we were pretty funny while we were making the shirts and put the boys as "Got Runs.") We also got us some sweet aerodynamic fuschia pants that were the only things that came clean after and the boys sported some awesome fuschia hot pants. Cory even won an award while we were there for his outfit, probably for having legs that any male, or female, would envy. (We also ran with Bachelor Bentley. My sister got mad at me for not kicking him down in the mud.)

Luckily my parents came up to watch so my mom got some awesome pictures. Unfortunately she couldn't see us during the middle, full of hay barrels to hurdle, walls to climb, tunnels to climb through, and tires to run through.

Cory waving to his fansReady, set, CANNONBALL!!

"You people are crazy. I'm definitely not related.""Do I have something on my face?" Ok, really I was asking if I had gotten all the mud out of my teeth. Disgusting! These were the most painful, powerful, cold showers!Even after showering in the torture showers, there was still mud in every inch of the body.
