"Dear John"

Just finished this book. I wanted to read it before I see the movie so I can fill in the detail (even though movies made from books are usually a disappointment.) I don't want to give anything away on the story but I wish it had ended the way I think it should. It was a good story though and as usual Nicholas Sparks made me cry.

Franklin loves to chew. He's got a few stuffed animals with a squeeker inside that he has torn to shreds and I've thrown away because I'm sick of cleaning up the stuffing. I bought him this toy today thinking it would be indestructible. He sure did love it......One hour later
So much for indestructible.

It runs in the fam...

Yes my sister definitely inherited my mom's talent for sewing and crafts. I gave this material to my mom Saturday morning to make a bedspread for Caidence's "big girl" bed and she had it finished by the time we got home that afternoon. Thanks grandma!!
She definitely is looking more and more like a "big girl!" She's been doing great at sleeping in her bed instead of the crib and just comes running into our room in the morning with arms reaching for us to pull her into our bed for one last hour of sleep. I'm definitely spoiled, she sleeps in until nine!

Have you ever seen a cuter carseat canopy?! I've got one talented sister! I did pick out the material and dye her hair in between sewing. :) Now I just need this baby to get here so I can use it!

Ahhh...Breath of fresh air

I've lost my camera. I'm sure its around here somewhere, in the house, or one of our cars, but I've switched bags and cars and taken Caid from one sitter to the next in the last few weeks so I'm really not sure where it ended up. But I can happily say that I am officially on vacation! I've finished all of my CNA classes and clinicals (with only minimal diaper changes and nothing too traumatic) and I am not planning on working until after I recover from my delivery. So that means that for the next 4 months my only worries are these two little babies (and one more in March!) And as much fun as Caidence had playing with all of her cousins and grandma and grandpa for two straight weeks, she is so glad to have mommy home! I'm so excited to go eat lunch with Zach, sleep in, clean the house, maybe even cook dinner once in a while! Caidence loves her Franklin. She loves to help him eat his dinner and even as I'm writing this, she is sitting on the floor with him with an empty bowl and spoon "feeding" him. She always shares her drinks and food with him and occasionally a doll skirt. These two definitely keep me entertained!

Back to School!

I finished all of my CNA classes! Coming up this week...stories about changing bed pans and giving sponge baths. Bet you can't wait!
