Party Time!!

First, this is the darling present my mom made for Jord. It's an "I Spy" quilt so every patch is something different (snowman, pumpkins, animals, toys) and you tell them to find something and it has kept Caid entertained forever! Jordyn likes to play around on it, but when she's a little older she'll get to play "I Spy" too.

My cousin Steph made Jordyn's birthday cake. I told her I want something Springy and St. Patricks-y without being too St. Patricks-y. Looks perfect to me! And it was delicious!! circusprojects.blogspot.com

She didn't get too messy, but she did savor every bite!

Me and Zach gave her a music set that came with a piano, drum, and xylophone. The cousins snatched them up the second they were opened so she luckily didn't care that she had to share.

She got back into her cake as I was packing up to take everything back home. I think she was on a sugar high the rest of the night because she would not stop laughing!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

The Leprechaun visited our house! He came in through the window and left footprints all the way to his pot of gold. Caid saw me cutting out these stupid feet for a week before so she wasn't very impressed. But when my parents asked her who left her the pot of gold with "Tinkerbell" in it, she told them the truck man. (Yes UPS and FedEx come to my house almost daily so I don't know why I'm surprised by her answer.) Happy Birthday Jordy!

12 Months

Newborn123456789101112Where did my chubby little baby go?! She's no longer the mellow, even tempered chub that I remember. And she refused to pose for the above picture. She is full of sass and cute as can be! She's a full blown mama's girl, first word was "mama" but "dada" followed soon after. She loves loves loves Caidence and gets so excited when she sees her. If she sees Caid sleeping she squeels and shrieks, followed by hair pulling in hopes of waking her up. She HATES to get dressed or even her diaper changed and squirms and screams the entire time. She loves to play in the dog food/water. Jord loves the bath and shower, fruit, and other babies. She may not be talking a lot yet but she definitely lets you know when she likes or doesn't like something.

First Sleepover!

Alex and Kalee were babysitting their niece Melia for the night so they invited Caid to sleepover too. We packed up Megamind, her flower pillow, Dora blanket (she was very specific on what she wanted to take), a bag of popcorn and dropped her off! 20 minutes later I get a text from Kalee:

Kalee: She's telling me I'm not making her blanket right...Ummm suggestions?

Me: I can't ever get it right when she's tired. Just spread it out on her and tell her it's fine or she'll have to come home.

Kalee: She just told me "Megamind is REALLY special...You can't touch it and get finger prints on it cuz its mine and my mom brought it and its really special. "

Me: Is her blanket now?

Kalee: Grandma put it on so yes. But she's taken it off another 3 times since then.

They watched Megamind and then Despicable Me. Kalee woke up at 12:16 and the two girls were still up giggling. Who knows what time they finally fell asleep. We had church the next morning at 9:00. And it was daylight savings. When Kalee brought her home my clocks still said 6:46. That was yesterday. Today it is 10:41 and she is still in bed. That sleepover must have wiped her out!

Happy Birthday Indie!

Jillian moved up to Washington and Indiana's birthday is today, but they were able to come down to visit last month and celebrate in Salt Lake. She had such a fun party at The Little Gym. As you can tell from the pictures, the kids definitely worked up a sweat! They had so much fun!
