We've hit a turning point with this boy. Nothing is safe anymore. Trey is officially crawling, started on May 25 at the cabin. Now he's into cupboards, eating off the floor, throwing things off shelves, pushing buttons he's not supposed to, into everything! He's pulling himself standing so that he can get into more things he's not supposed to. Trey still has no teeth, but that doesn't slow him down. He ate an entire chicken nugget kids meal. (Not his own so I had to order a replacement for an unhappy Jordyn.) He loves to take showers, loves swimming, swinging, playing outside, anything Summer. He's on a pretty set sleep schedule. Wakes up by 8:00, eats and plays, then ready for a 2 hour morning nap. Then lunch and playing and errands, afternoon nap for 2 hours, dinner, playing, and ready for bed by 8:00. However, I took down his crib. He's never once slept in it longer than an hour. I decided to take it down and move some of the girls toys in its place. He makes me feel like a first time mom when it comes to sleep. He refuses to sleep on his own, no matter how hard I've tried. So I lay next to him for a few minutes until he's asleep and then sneak out and he gets a good few hours. But now that he's crawling he tries to crawl off my bed when he wakes up so he now naps on blankets on the floor. Whatever works at this point. The boy apparently runs the show around here. We did have a few successful days of letting him cry it out in the pack n play, but then he learned to sit up on his own so he'd just sit and scream for hours and be ornery all day. For my sanity, we cuddle. And I won't get the cuddles forever so I'm just loving them while I get them! He loves to scream for his sisters when I tell him to call "the girls," and they can always her him laughing. He's a pretty happy little guy as long as he's with people!
