Lazy Summer Days

How fabulous is this picture? And how adorable are these girls? Nothing like a walk to feed the ducks in our jammies!
The girls love doing their "homework" at their desks. I had to rearrange furniture in the house to make room for the crib and its made the desks a lot more accessible which means they actually get used now!
If no one will go outside with Jord when she wants to ride her bike, then she just carries it inside and does laps around the house!
Caidence has had some interesting outfit choices this summer! And I'm loving not having to go thru a battle of getting her ready for school!
And what's better than a picnic lunch still in our pjs?

Goodbye Preschool, Hello Kindergarten!!

Caidence is no longer my little preschooler! I didn't even cry when I sent her to school for the first time, but I was getting very choked up at her preschool graduation. She's just so grown up! Which means I'm old! I remember being in Kindergarten and thinking I was so grown up. She can't possibly be to that age yet! She has made some great friends in Preschool and luckily a few of them should be in her class next year. I wanted to get a picture of her for her last day of school and it turned into a full on photo shoot, including Jordy. These girls love being in front of the camera!
We loved our teachers this year! Miss Brooke was with us the whole year and Miss Terry (my camera died just as I was taking her picture) came half way thru the year and was wonderful!
Two years of Preschool with cute Jaedin and looking forward to having her in Kindergarten with us next year.
Hanging out at the family picnic with all of our cute friends!

Memorial Weekend - Breaking in the Cabin for the Summer

This was our first trip to the cabin for the year and we had quite the crowd! The kids were in heaven! Lots of cousins and playing in the dirt, no showers, some work, lots of play, lots of candy, campfires and smores, Poker run, 4-wheelers, guns, bow and arrows, and laughing until we cried, mostly from the sunset, bird-gina, are you my mother? photoshoot between Jeremy and Don.
