Growing up, I had four older siblings that I shared a room with while we were building our house. They taught me how to climb out of my crib so that I could sleep with them. And apparently I liked to cuddle, bear hug choke your throat cuddle. I even told my mom that I didn't like pillows "cuz pillows are cold and hugs are warm." Well its all come back full circle. Caid woke up in the middle of the night a few nights ago and wouldn't go back to sleep. I brought her in to lay with me until she calmed down and sure enough, as soon as she wrapped her arms around my neck and sprawled out on top of me, she was sound asleep. I tried the hug and roll but she woke up. I tried to lay her softly in her crib but she woke up. I even tried to let Zach take a turn and see if she would cuddle with him. We both got the stink eye, then she climbed across the bed, and wrapped herself back around me. I of course was wide awake at this point so I turned on the tv, waited until I was positive she was out, turned off the tv, closed my eyes, and heard "Mom, hi mom, mama, hi. Hi mom. Hi. Mom. MOM." "Caid, close your eyes!" "Hi mom." The next night she slept over at grandmas.

Hypothesis #1: Food Cravings

I didn't think I was having cravings until I realized I've asked Zach to go to Subway 3 times this week. With Caid I craved junk: pop, hamburgers, fast food, sweets. This baby is wanting Subway, Blimpies, Quiznos, sandwiches, salads, water...Think that means I'm having a boy? If anything, maybe I can gain less than 50 pounds this time around!

We love Daddy's job!

We tagged along while Zach was playing tennis, and it didn't take long for Caid to be in the pool! I didn't have my suit, so we packed her in the life jacket, Spiderman tube, and she was in heaven!

BABY #2 DUE IN MARCH!!

New Obsession

Hopefully its just from the summer heat, but every time I turn around Caid is topless!And yes, our other obsession is to pull out every single thing from my wallet.

Happy 5 Years!!

We've hit the 5 year mark! Can you believe I survived?! :) Notice the "Are you kidding me!" look on my face? Yes, through the entire afternoon of taking pictures, Zach was on his phone. Apparently he was making arrangements with the hotel so his friends could go in and put rose petals all over. Nice excuse.

I got Zach the Apple TV for our anniversary. It works like the Ipod but through your tv so you can put all your music and movies on it. We're still trying to figure out how to use it...And what did he get me? That's right, I'm packing heat! Don't let the size fool you, it's got quite the kick! We've been very blessed these first 5 years. There hasn't been a dull moment!

Z and fam lost snowmobiling on New Years Eve

Z and fam found and with only slight cases of frost bite and dehydration

Move in with Z's parents while building our house

Z Assistant coach for Weber State Tennis

Z gets junior director job at Eagleridge

2007:

Move into our first house

M graduates cosmetology school
Find out we are pregnant

M quits pharmacy after 5 years and starts working for Iggys

Vacation to Cancun

2008:

Caidence born

And apparently after you have kids, life is no longer exciting because it doesn't seem like much has happened since but we love every second! Happy Anniversary Zach! Love you!

So call me a bad mom...

I hear my daughter crying and look over to see her stuck on the shelves that she climbed herself. Do I rush to her rescue? Not until I find the camera!
