I know, everyone's kid is the funniest. But seriously, mine is. :) I know one of these days, they will grow up and yelling "You idiot" at her sister won't come across quite as cute so I've got to write 'em down as I hear the cute things my little girls say!
We were getting ready to go for a walk with some friends, but when I pulled out the stroller, the pin holding the wheel on was broken. I told Caid we couldn't go because it was broken. She said, "It's ok. Just call grandpa. He can fix it. He's my fix-it grandpa. He can fix anything!" (And it's true! My dad can fix anything...even the broken stroller wheel.)
Caid: I'm hungry.
Me: What do you want?
Caid: I'm thinking something round like a circle.
Me: Ok, what food is round like a circle?
Caid: A chocolate chip cookie is round!
I picked Caid up from preschool and asked how her day was and what she did. She said she was playing with the boys and told them she wanted to play princess. They were playing Star Wars and told her they weren't playing princess. She said she would be the princess in Star Wars (which she has never seen, or probably ever heard of.) They told her there were no princesses in Star Wars so she'd have to go play something else. So she told them "Nice try. So, mom, they said 'Ok, fine. You can be the pretty princess in Star Wars.' " I'm not sure what the real story is, but this is the one she told me after school.
I told Caid I had to finish something before we left for Costco so she turned to Jord and said, "K Jord. Let's go entertain ourselves."
We were running errands and she wants to know exactly where we are going. I told her we were stopping at RC Willey. She said, "Oh I love RC Willey! He is so handsome!"
I was helping out in her preschool class for the day and it happened to be black day. They were talking about bats and how they sleep upside down. Ms. Karen asked how they sleep. Caid said, "I sleep upside up. But then once I hear my parents go to sleep I tippy toe sooo sneaky into their room and get in their bed and sleep in with them. But I have to be sneaky."
