Family date before baby!

We decided to cram as much fun into one of our last Saturdays as we could. We started out with a family date to The Wairhouse trampoline place. The girls loved it! (But I think Zach was the most giddy.) I jumped a little but didn't want a baby quite this early so I took it pretty easy. After we wore them out, Zach and I celebrated our 9th anniversary since we will be in the hospital on our actual day. We went to Carvers Steak and Seafood but our reservation was for 5:30 so we ate with the senior citizens and the table next to us were all hooked up to their oxygen tanks. Then we went to a movie and realized we really are getting old when we got out of the movie and it was still light outside and we were excited to go to bed early. Got to take advantage of it because that won't be possible with newborn around!

Already in love

These girls are already so in love with their little brother! He's going to be one smothered little boy if the amount of kisses continues once he's actually born!

Let's try this again

Back a few years ago when Caidence got potty trained she decided she wanted her ears pierced as a reward. Then chickened out once we got there so we did Jordyn's instead since she was a baby and had no say. On her next birthday, Caid decided she was ready. They only lasted a few weeks, she cried if I tried cleaning them, they got infected, and she decided she was done and took them out. I didn't think she'd ever want earrings again, but this last week I had to run to the mall (which I am too old and cheap to shop at) and when we walked past Claire's, she grabbed my hand to drag me in there and begged for her ears pierced. She promised she'd let me clean and take care of them, picked out some pink diamond flower earrings and braved it out once again! And so far she's done great on her promise of taking care of them.

Yellowstone

What sounds like the best vacation in the world when you're 33 weeks pregnant? Going camping in Yellowstone and spending 30 hours in the car!! Zach's family had planned a trip to Yellowstone, but then Zach ended up getting into nursing school so he had to skip it. It wasn't stopping us though! Me and the girls loaded up and left him home for a few days and went with. Despite being cooped up in the car and lack of sleep from being out of my own bed this far along in my pregnancy, we really did have a good time. And luckily I didn't go into labor in the middle of the wilderness! We didn't see many animals, but the kids got to see Old Faithful, go fishing, boating in Papa Dan's boat, swimming at the campground, shopping in town, campfires, and lots of playing with cousins! Jordyn had a meltdown on the way home when she found out we were actually on our way home and not heading back to the campground.
