Two months

And still the best baby! At her 2 month check up she weighed 7.14 (2nd percentile) and was 20.5 inches (2nd percentile). She's still just a tiny thing! She eats all day and sleeps all night. Trey teases and squishes her. He loves her but doesn't know how to be gentle yet. She loves to be held, but is also fine being laid on her own. She'll nap in the sunshine in her bassinet. She is just the sweetest and we love everything about her!

First day of (new) school

I guess technically this is their second. I was so sick on their first day and couldn't get their picture, couldn't take them to their class. It was miserable! But here they are on their second day at their new school! They loved it, said it was awesome, enjoyed their teachers, made new friends. And I love that they can walk to school.

Moving day!!

Buying a house is such a pain! Add buying a house during the holidays and with a newborn and it's something I never plan to do again. The paperwork kept getting screwed up, then the loan we applied for got denied because Zach had only been at his job 6 months so we had to do a different loan type, things would get pushed back because of the holidays, the seller was out of town on the day we were finally supposed to sign...so what a relief to finally close! And moving day ended up being on New Years Day. What a way to start 2016! We had so much help from our amazing families! How we fit so much stuff in our little 2 bedroom house, I'll never know. It took 17 loads to move us. Luckily that was only two trips because we had so many trucks and vans and trailers and people! Zach had to work and I was still too soon out of surgery to help so I just pointed where stuff went and bit my nails in anxiety for making everyone give up their holiday and move us in the bitter freezing cold! But we got it done in one day and slept there that night...without running water. Another problem with moving during the holidays. The water was shut off by the seller and the city offices were closed for the four days. We showered at grandma and grandpas, took laundry with us, and brought back buckets of water to flush the toilet.

Happy NOON Years Eve!

We've done it once before so Caidence said its tradition! We went bowling with Jodi and Don and grandma and grandpa on New Years Eve. Last year I bowled one handed with Trey on my hip, this year he did it himself, well with Payton by his side. He loves those boys! And bowling shoes have never looked cuter than on a two year old!

One month

Fastest month ever! Oakley is such an amazing baby! She loves to be held, but she's also fine to have some alone time. The kids love her and take turns holding her. She sleeps great at night, only getting up once to eat (but that's because I hold her next to me all night, she wakes up more if she's in the bassinet by herself.) She's a great eater, but still tiny. At 3 weeks, she was only 5.7, but at 5 weeks she was finally 6.6. She has big blue eyes and loves to look around and see everything around her. She even tolerates her brother smothering her pretty well.
