A few weeks ago, we had planned to go down to St. George with my mother-in-law and sister-in-laws for a girls weekend. It started out as Friday morning to Sunday. Then some had to wait til Friday later. Then some had to come back Saturday afternoon. We decided it was pointless to drive that far for just one day (and we're glad we didn't go down because none of us realized it was Spring Break and the traffic would have made for half of our trip!) So instead we got a deal on a room at the Homestead in Midway. It was wonderful! When they showed up to pick me up, Allison and I realized what great taste we have. We both happened to be dressed in black and white striped shirts and bright blue skinny jeans! Plus we both have close to the same length and color of hair. We got to Midway and checked into our room and then headed out for pedicures and dinner. It was so nice to sit in the massage chairs and just talk and hang out. (And me and Allison happened to pick the exact same color of polish without knowing it.) After dinner, we went back to our room to get in pajamas and hang out. And, once again, me and Allison came out in the same outfit...that we had both bought the day before and had no idea the other one had. Great minds think alike!! The next morning Allison had to leave early, so the rest of us got ready and went to breakfast and then a fabulous day of SHOPPING! Zach was great to take off work and stay home with the girls. He only called about 27 times to go over diabetes questions. The girls loved having daddy home. They went to McDonald's for dinner...and then again for lunch the next day. And apparently McDonald's has face painting! (Yes, my wonderful mother-in-law Jane was with us, but she just happened to be the one taking pictures so we only got her in one of them.)
