When Caid was potty trained finally, she decided she wanted her ears pierced as her reward. When we got there, she found out it might hurt a little so she quickly changed her mind. She did not want the white shooty gun anywhere near her ear. So we did Jordyn's instead since we were already there. And since she was a baby and couldn't tell us no. So ever since then, I've asked Caid if she wants her ears pierced yet and she always says no. Then the week before her birthday she told Aunt Jami over Skype that she was getting her ears pierced for her birthday. We were ready to go and by that afternoon she had already changed her mind. Finally two days after her birthday she had a dr appt for her yearly checkup and had to get two shots. And she screamed and cried. But as soon as she stopped and we were walking out I told her that getting her ears pierced would hurt way less than those shots so she said "Ok let's go get them." I kept waiting for her to change her mind, but she picked her "Princess" earrings, sat in the chair, and they did the first one. And she screamed and cried and tried to get out of the chair. I had to hold her down to do the second one and she yelled at me "You lied! It did hurt!" But she got over it once they gave her a sucker. And she looks so cute and grownup with them.
