3 Weeks Left...

We had our ultrasound today and everything looks great. They are estimating the baby will be in the 6 lb region so we should be nice and healthy. And its still a girl...despite all my dreams lately that it comes out a boy. I'm feeling great, lots of braxton hicks but nothing serious. This has been a very easy pregnancy. And its gone extremely fast! I am a little worried how my Caidence will adjust though. She makes sure everyone knows that I'm her mommy and then I was trying to find her the other day and this is what I saw. Any time I tell her something is the baby's she gets mad and says its hers. But I'm sure she will be a very helpful big sister, more helpful than I'd like!

Are you kidding me!?

I just happened to look at my baby ticker on the side and realized that I only have 29 days left! This pregnancy has gone so stinkin' fast! I was in such a hurry for Caidence to get here, but this time around I know what to expect so I'm not in as much as a rush for the up all night feedings and c-section recovery. We are very excited for this new little baby, but I am taking advantage of all this time I can with just my little Caidence (who won't seem little much longer!) However, I am not a patient person. I am a planner. I've already pulled out all the baby clothes and washed the ones that have spit up stains that have showed up while sitting in a box. I've got the bassinet set up, the swing is out (mainly because there is very little room for storage in our house), and I'm already making mental lists constantly of what I need to pack for the hospital or buy before she gets here. I'm also very excited for our ultrasound this week so that I can make sure she is still a she and not a he. But I've also got a wish list started. I saw this "Nap Nanny" in a magazine and want one so bad. Its a foam bed sort of thing that is supposed to be a miracle sleeper and helps if they have colic or gas.I'd also like a double jogger. No I don't jog, but I might if I had one of these!!

Attempting...

I'd basically written off the idea of having Caidence potty trained by the time the baby got here, but the last little while she's been acting interested again. We were at the store and she saw Dora panties and wanted them so bad! She went a few times on the potty, and then asked for the diaper back. Then she'd try some more, but finally got the the point where when she'd try she would just look at me and tell me "It's hard!" One of these days we'll get it...She still tries, but only because she knows she gets a sucker after!

Good News Moment

We've had a stressful past few months but today finally gave us something to look forward to! We went to a dr's appt this morning and officially scheduled my c-section for March 23 at 7:30 am. I'm measuring small but the dr isn't worried. He is going to do an ultrasound two weeks from today just to measure the size of the baby to make sure though. In addition to this good news I just got the mail and in it was that piece of paper I've been waiting everyday for, my CNA certificate saying that I passed my tests and am officially certified!

This little girl makes me laugh constantly! I love how much she is starting to talk. Today she brought me my hair cape, sat up in the chair, and said "Mom, I want be pretty!" Then she saw the dust floating around in the sun through the window and goes "oooh stars! reach!"

Have your cake and eat it too

Best Friends
These two sure love each other! Caidence loves to feed Franklin, even if its just an empty bowl and spoon and she's pretending but he plays along. He always knows he can follow her around and eat anything she drops. First thing when she wakes up in the morning she asks for Franklin. But Caid doesn't like him sitting on my lap. She'll try and push him off and tell him "No Fra-kin, that's my mom." Hopefully she's more ok to share her mom with the new baby.

Franklin

Whitney sent me this picture of Franklin so I thought I'd pass along that at one time he did look like a puppy!
8 Weeks 8 Months

Have I mentioned she's a chatterbox?!

Caidence keeps me laughing constantly. She is talking nonstop and is now saying full sentences which just keeps us more entertained than before. Today we were over with my parents eating one of the many meals we eat over there everyday and Caidence says to us "I farted. It feels better here. (pointing to her stomach)" She's definitely her dad's daughter!

We are loving living so close to my parents! They definitely spoil us and keep us well fed. I think in the month we have lived here I've cooked once. If you've seen my kitchen, you would know what a blessing that is. There is no dishwasher, disposal, and if more than one person is in it, you literally cannot move it's so small. And since Zach always works late, its nice to always have company!

On the horizon, still haven't sold our house, I take my CNA tests on Wednesday and Thursday this week (wish me luck!!), and in 7 short weeks this little bump will be making her debut!
