Besides the Christmas season, the 4th of July is my favorite holiday! I love the warm, the BBQ's, the fireworks, the parades. We missed out on the parade this year, but we checked everything else off our list. We went to Tim and Melissa Rideout's for swimming and dinner. They got the taco cart and lots of pot luck food. Then we headed over to Simon's for fireworks. When we had done all of ours, the next door neighbors were finishing theirs so we kept watching. They had one that shot in the air, but it fell over and a bunch of pieces hit us. No one was hurt, but when we looked up the neighbors porch caught fire. Zach jumped over the hedge and ran over with a bucket of water and got it out. Caidence keeps telling everyone her dad is a "fighter-fighter" (firefighter) now.
