Caid Quotes

When is it Christmas? Me and Jordyn can't be nice to each other so we need Parker (our elf on the shelf) to come back.

Caid has been in the phase where if Zach and I are talking, she will interrupt us. We told her she needs to wait until we are done, or else raise her hand if it can't wait. We were driving in the car and she was in the back seat. We were talking and when we had stopped, Caid said, "I was raising my hand to say something, but you guys didn't hear."

While we were sitting at a stop light, Caid asked me to roll down her window. We'd been sitting there a minute and I glanced over to see a teenage boy in the car next to us looking and laughing and smiling. I looked back and Caid was waving and smiling at him. The light turned green and as we drove away, she said "Dang! I should have asked him his name!"

I really should record Caid's prayers. They really are some good entertainment. Part of one the other night was "Please bless no bugs will crawl in my ears and lay eggs in there."

Another one was her first prayer in Primary. She wanted to do it all by herself. "Bless we'll have fun in Lake Powell. Bless it to stop raining (it was sunny as could be.) Bless Brielle won't beat me to pieces." (At this point all the kids were laughing.) She looked up at them and continued "Bless the kids will stop laughing. Bless I will have a fun birthday party (which is not until April.) Bless Kate won't be sick anymore." (Hadn't been sick.) It went on like this for a few minutes until the Primary helper helped her end it. She knew she was entertaining everyone. By the end of church, everyone was talking and laughing about it.
