Sugar Babies

After filming started almost 3 years ago, Caidence's documentary for diabetes is finally finished. It was shown in the New York Film Festival and then they started showing it in screenings around Utah. They had a few smaller screenings, but the filmmaker Jenny Mackenzie wanted us to see it for the first time at the big screening. Then a few weeks before she called and said they were doing a screening at the home of a very prominent Utah couple. They were going to have a dinner before and then show it in their home theater and wanted Zach and me to be there. After they did a Q&A and we had a great reception of the film.

A week before the main screening, Jenny called and asked us to come up to the State Capital for a press conference. They were showing the film to the Governor and celebrating World Diabetes Day. The news was there and we ended up in the Salt Lake Tribune.

November 20 was the night of the main screening. It was at the main Salt Lake Library. We had almost all of the Eldredge side there, Zachs parents and brothers family, some friends, and some of my Young Women. The entire theater was full. They had the screening and a Q&A, and then they had healthy food, label reading, exercise courses, and diabetes screenings. All the family got their blood sugar tested and everyone passed. And Caidence loved being a movie star!
