First grade! All day school! How in the world is she old enough?! All Summer Caidence had been telling me that there was one teacher she did not want. She was across the hall from her kindergarten class and yelled and sounded mean. Then we found out that's exactly who she got. And she didn't have a single friend in her class. This girl is amazing. After being a little mad at first about her teacher, she finally said, "I'll be just fine. I'm a rule follower so I won't get yelled at and I can just play with my friends at recess." We went in a few days before school started to meet with the school nurse and her teacher and when we left she said her teacher was "the bomb." She was so excited to take a lunch to school and get three recesses. The day before I asked her what she was going to wear on the first day. Strider was with us and told her all she needed was Wranglers, cowboy boots, and a shirt. She didn't have Wranglers, but she made sure to wear her cowgirl boots.

Waiting at the bus stop to leave me all day!

This girl has had the worst week. She was so mad Caidence left her. She's been bored and ornery all day. We've done Slurpee runs, D.I. drop offs, walked to the duck pond to feed the ducks, Wheeler Farm, went for a drive up the canyon, played outside, and she's still not happy. Preschool can not start soon enough!
