Temple Square

For family night, minus the husbands who always seem to be at work, I headed down to Temple Square to see the lights with my sister-in-law, Mandy, and her girls. I went a few years ago and swore I'd never go again. but apparently going when it isn't windy and snowy and slushy and wet and with a little baby is a much nicer experience. The girls loved it and it was great weather. After we met up with our other sister-in-law Natalie for some yummy greasy Crown Burger. However, the highlight of my night was going to my car after the temple. We had to park on Main Street up the huge hill, past the Conference Center. It was a huge hike getting up there, and I was pushing my double jogging stroller. I finally got up to my car, loaded the kids in their carseats, and was folding up the stroller, when I see this group of about 5 teenage boys take off running down the hill yelling "We'll get it!" I look to see what they are talking about and the wheel on my stroller had come off and was rolling down the huge hill on Main Street. Eventually I couldn't see them or the wheel, they had gone so far down, there were cars everywhere, and it was dark. I thought it was gone for good and I figured the boys were down the street by this point. I finished loading the rest of my stuff, and was in the car trying to figure out where my brake release for the emergency brake was when I heard a knock on my window. I look over and see these little 14 year old boys holding the tire to my stroller. Luckily those boys walked by when they did because I don't think anyone else would have been up for such a challenge of chasing a tire down Main Street...and running back up the hill to bring it to me!!
